Nearly forgot!

Hello friends
I was so involved in doing jobs yesterday it got till nearly midnight before I thought...
goodness I haven't scheduled a blog post!
So here are my midnight ramblings....
let's go for something Christmassy - all those films on Christmas 24 have
definitely got me in the spirit and I totally agree with Patricia -
the ones that feature dogs have me in tears!
Also thanks to Yorkshire Sue for the advice on my pins when I'm sewing - jolly useful to know.
Today's card is one that I have featured before but I know I have new followers so I thought
it would be good to show how brilliant those Edgeabilites® are, here I've used
Classic Ric Rac on the edge of my card.
The papers are Bo Bunny - Father Christmas Collection.
I used various panels, distressing and inking some - Tea Dye,
little bit of twine and some matching Bo Bunny brads.
Today I have an advent frame class in my crafty studio.  The ladies that are attending are those
that I met at a craft club recently.
Don't forget if you attend a craft club I would love to come along and say hello.
Have a wonderful Sunday - is it too early to put up the Christmas tree???
Take care friends.

Hi Christine
When my husband was a little boy he was always asking like you when his Christmas tree was going up, starting his pleas in mid October! He was told that the right date was his mothers birthday, December 5th, and more than 50 years later that is still the date we go with.
Love your cards, only wish your courses weren't at the other end of the country so that I could come
Hugs and thanks Linda

Hi Christine. This is so pretty. Very tradional.

You've got me in the mood for Christmas films and last night I watched my favourite ever "It's A Wonderful Life" Haven't got enough fingers or toes to count the amount of times I've watched it but at the end when James Stewart says "Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings" I'm always in floods of tears. Oh I so love Christmas.

Have a lovely Sunday.

A lovely traditional card Christine! Love Christmas movies, but the ones with dogs make me way too emotional! It's a Wonderful Life is still my favourite..we always put our trees up on 1st December, I say 'trees' because our very old artificial one, I refused to throw away and now out it up in my craft room..it means I can't move for lack of room, but I probably see more of that one than the big one downstairs! Happy Sunday all, Carole Z X

Morning Christine, I have 2 brothers, 1 a rugby player the other in the army, well we were banned from watching Lassie as children, dad came home one day to find us 3, mum & a neighbour crying our eyes out! The funny thing is none ofus will watch lassie now, we were so trumatised. I think its because we always had/have working collies who also looked after the family.

Lovely card today and as usual you've used a lovely colour palette and papers.

Good Sunday morning Christine, it is lovely and sunny here at the moment so hope it lasts. It makes you feel brighter seeing the sunshine doesn't it?
I do like this card today and the way you have used the edgeabilities. Must try to use mine more.
I agree about "doggy films" I have only seen Marley and Me once and never again...it is too traumatic...hehehe.
Our tree goes up exactly 2 weeks before christmas.
Hope you have a lovely day today in your crafty studio. Lucky ladies. Elizabeth x

Have a good class today, those lucky ladies.
My birthday is 12th December, so we never put anything up until the day after.

Hi Christine, it is lovely that you are feeling so christmassy! Your card is beautiful, I love those BoBunny papers, so vintage looking. I think I would wait until 1 December to put the tree up but you could put one up in the new shop with some lovely handmade embellies on it - that would look fabulous. Have a good day with the ladies, I so envy them! Hugs, Anne x

Hi Christine,
wonderful Christmas card. Love the vintage theme and those brads.
I too earlier this week was doing my post after midnight, when I got up in the morning. I had lots of spelling mistakes to rectify. I was so tired that night, but that's my excuse. lol.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
