Chocolate!

Hello friends
The universal answer to everything is...chocolate!
Yesterday at work (my London job) I waved goodbye to one of my bosses - Natalie.
I was incredibly sad to see her go - such a genuine, lovely lady and I will miss her a great deal.
We put together a collection and purchased a Kindle,
I decided when I wrapped it up to add a little extra to the packaging ..chocolate!
This is one of my favourite things to do and in fact I'm going to include it within one of my classes soon.
I kept the design quite simple, dots and music sheet,
twine and a pretty pink flower from Jewel Flowers and Flourishes.
So how many of you feeling like chocolate right now?!

Now I have an amazing picture to share with you....
Wilma (Scottish Crafter) has been working her crafty fingers to the bone creating six advent frames!!
And...she's even had time to go shopping for goodies to place inside.
I can appreciate how much work and devotion has gone into these beauties -
well done Wilma - they are superb.
Just in case you feel a sudden urge to 'go advent' I do have a place left at the class tomorrow...
short notice I know but it is 11am to 3pm - feel free to bring a lunch although there is homemade cake, biscuits and chocolate on offer!
Please email: christine.emberson@blueyonder.co.uk
Take care friends.

Hi Christine.
Your chocolate wrapper looks lovely.
Wilma has worked hard on all the advent boxes, they look really great and so festive,I will have to look into getting a kit as there is still time to get one done. I wish I could make your class. Have a great weekend. x.

Hi Christine, I so love the way you make even a bar of chocolate look special. My mother gives the men in our family big bars of chocolate at Christmas so I can see I will be busy after I show her this idea. Thank you for featuring my Advent Frames, it was not hard work just took a bit of time and a lot of work is reduced if your kit is bought with all the boxes and lid already cut and embossed. Hope your class goes well tomorrow wish I could be there.

Hi Christine. What a lovely idea for a chocolate wrapper.

Wilma has done a lovely job with all those Advent Frames.

My daughter made 60 mince pies for her shop yesterday so I'm munching one as I type.

Morning Christine, Absolutely fantastic choccie wrapper, bet your Boss was made up with that, and also the Kindle. I bought a Kindle Fire HD and it came yesterday, so I was immediately downloading the last 3 of my Sookie Stackhouse books onto it, I have all the books but I'm finding it really hard recently to hold the book open, I'm usually reading on the train, I think my wrists are becoming a problem. I also bought a standing cover for it in hot Fuscia, bet my hubby won't be borrowing it ha ha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
